Michel Alsemgeest was appointed LeasePlan’s first Chief Digital & Information Officer in 2019, leading the digital aspects of the company’s NextGen transformation. Prior to that, he worked at KLM Information Technology, becoming Vice President Information Management after its merger with Air France. In 2015, he was appointed Digital Leader of TNT Express and then of FedEx International after the two companies merged. Michel is a member of Health-RI’s Supervisory Board, helping to create a national data platform to improve healthcare. He graduated in business administration from Nyenrode Business University and holds a master’s in senior management and IT from HEC Paris.
