Information regarding the transfer

Why are you transferring my contract to ALD? ALD and LeasePlan are both owned by Societe Generale and are working towards becoming Ayvens in the UK. The Notice of Assignment is the formal legal document that explains the vehicle sale and the transfer of underlying benefits of the contractual agreement. This was sent out on 18 August after the sale and transfer by email and registered post. Will my account number remain the same? Your customer number, A-xxxxxxxxx won’t change, but the prefix before the account number will change from ‘A-‘ to ‘SA’ on your bank statement. Will my payment date change? Private customers will have an ALD Direct Debit date of 30th September and then the 30th of every month (or the next working day) for the rest of their contract. It's not considered necessary for us to send you invoices monthly for a fixed and contractual payment, which is covered in your contract schedule. Why will sole traders and partnership customers not get regular monthly rental invoices? There may be instances where the invoice issued by ALD covers a period before the date of the assignment. It will only apply to invoices for your regular rental costs issued by ALD in August and won’t affect how much you pay.How do I contact ALD if I need support? You can email customerrelations@aldautomotive.com or call us on 03700 011 181.I have a complaint open with LeasePlan, who should I speak to?
