At Ayvens Danmark we’re looking for a Finance Process Specialist to join our team and play a key role in driving operational efficiency and aligning financial processes with our strategic objectives.

About the role

As a Finance Process Specialist, you will act as a project- and process management professional, working closely with the Finance department and other key stakeholders, including IT and Risk. You’ll identify and implement process optimization initiatives, track ongoing projects, and ensure best practices across financial operations.

In this transversal role, you’ll maintain governance over financial optimizations while providing holistic insights that align with corporate strategies. You’ll also serve as a bridge between Finance and IT, ensuring seamless integration of business needs and technology solutions.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Oversee and track finance-related projects to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

  • Provide regular status updates to Finance leadership, Middle Management, and ExCo.

  • Analyze and prioritize incoming finance process optimization initiatives.

  • Collaborate with local, Nordic, and regional teams to ensure project alignment.

  • Act as a liaison between Finance and IT, representing business needs effectively.

  • Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to achieve measurable outcomes.

  • Ensure financial processes and projects support long-term corporate strategies.

  • People and Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal abilities, excellent written and verbal communication in both Danish and English, and a team-oriented mindset.

  • Analytical and Logical Thinking: A structured, detail-oriented approach to problem-solving with the ability to break down complex issues and foresee potential conflicts.

  • Technical and Process Knowledge:

    • Solid understanding of IT systems, their interdependencies, and value chains.

    • Familiarity with tools and systems such as Microsoft Office 365, FIS, and Microsoft applications like Power Automate, Visio, and Power BI.

  • Project and Process Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, with strong organizational and prioritization skills.

  • Continuous Improvement: A willingness to challenge the status quo and improve processes, with Lean Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt) being a plus.

  • Positive Attitude: A can-do approach, focused on collaboration and delivering measurable results.
