It's important to check your car's tyre pressure and tread frequently, so you get the safest drive and best driving experience.
You can get your tyres changed at Dækpartner or Superdæk.
Summer or winter tyres?
When you lease with Ayvens, you can choose whether or not winter tyres should be part of the agreement. Check your leasing contract.
If winter tyres are part of your agreement and your car is delivered between 15 October and 31 March, your car will be delivered with winter tyres fitted on steel rims without wheel covers, as default.
Tip! Make sure to change your tyres on time. Driving on summer tyres in winter is as inappropriate as driving on winter tyres in summer. Check out the tyre guide for more tips.
NOTE: It's important that you book time in advance for tyre change as long waiting times may occur at the garages when high season!
Road Traffic Act: New rules regarding correct tyres
From July 1, 2025, all motorists, including drivers of company cars, must actively ensure that their car’s tyres are suitable for the season. A new change in the Road Traffic Act means that it will be illegal to drive with overtly unsuitable tyres in winter conditions, for example, summer tires on snow-, ice-, or slush-covered roads.
