What is an owned fleet?
When vehicles are purchased outright for a company fleet, the company is the owner. Purchased vehicles are usually kept for longer than leased vehicles because they are subject to statutory depreciation periods. However, you don’t have to manage an owned fleet yourself. Customers with owned fleets can also take advantage of services that are generally only available to lease customers.
