When should I present my vehicle for a technical inspection?

First of all, check your vehicle documents to see if you already have an inspection certificate and if so, how long it is valid for.

In general, a passenger car must be presented for inspection for the first time two years after its original registration date. After two years, you'll receive an inspection certificate that is valid for  two more years.

When will I receive an invitation to present my vehicle for inspection?

We will send you or your fleet manager a reminder by e-mail one month in advance (based on the date of first registration).

I haven't received an invitation to present my vehicle for inspection. What should I do now?

Question 4

Does an electric vehicle require different maintenance than a vehicle with petrol or diesel?

An electric vehicle requires less maintenance. This is due to the engine's reduced number of moving parts compared to a conventional combustion motor, which therefore leads to reduced wear. Moreover, oil changes are a thing of the past and the vehicle does not have an exhaust or gears. In addition, the brakes are less susceptible to wear thanks to the regenerative braking capacity.

Question 5

My vehicle is reaching the end of its contract. Do I still have to present it for inspection?

A technical inspection is required by law no later than the second year following the date of first registration. If you use the car after this date, you will still have to present your vehicle for inspection. If you do not do so, you run the risk of receiving a fine and you will still have to present your vehicle for inspection.

Where can I have my car serviced or repaired?

Please contact us by sending the email to service_ua@ayvens.com or contact Ayvens call center (044) 363-58-58. We will arrange an appointment for you at the most suitable garage, taking into account your chosen location and how you want to organize the day.

Your car will be checked and serviced by specialists. Invoicing takes place directly between the garage and Ayvens. You do not have to pay anything yourself.

Question 7

Can I have a service performed abroad?

We recommend that you have your car serviced before you go abroad or when you return your car to Ukraine. If the mileage does not deviate too much from the next service interval (max. 500 km), a service is permitted. If the difference is greater, you can always have the levels checked before you leave on holiday.

Question 8

What maintenance costs are included in the lease contract?

During the term of your contract, the costs of servicing, technical repairs and replacement of wear parts shall be borne by Ayvens if you have them carried out by a partner from our network. As a driver, you are responsible for ensuring that services are carried out on time.
 Unforeseen costs due to the car not being properly maintained shall not be borne by Ayvens.

Some examples include:

1. Costs due to the failure to have repairs or services carried out on time;
 2. Costs of damage caused by a lack of oil;
 3. Costs due to you using the car in an irresponsible manner.

Question 9

When should I have a service done?

As a driver, you are responsible for ensuring that services are carried out on time. The vehicle's on-board computer will notify you when services are required, but you can also find the intervals at which they should be carried out in the lease car's service booklet.

You should also check the coolant, windscreen washer fluid, engine oil and the condition of the tyres on a regular basis.
 You can visit a garage approved by Ayvens for these minor interventions.

Question 10

How do you pay for a service or technical repairs?

The garage will contact Ayvens for approval of the works and invoicing. You do not have to pay these costs yourself.

I have a technical problem. What should I do?

If you're unsure whether you can continue driving safely or if your vehicle is immobilized, call for roadside assistance on 0-800-505-505.

If you can still drive safely, you can request an appointment to have your vehicle repaired by contacting us by sending the email to service_ua@ayvens.com or contact Ayvens call center (044) 363-58-58. We will look for the best-placed garage in your region of choice for you.

Question 12

How long will it take to repair my vehicle?

The time needed for a repair depends on various factors (the cause of repair, whether parts need to be repaired or replaced, whether parts are in stock, etc.). The garage is best placed to inform you of how long it will take.
