Photo tips
for assessing damage
Damage to your vehicle is always inconvenient. To get you back on the road as quickly as possible, we offer you the possibility of having the damage to your vehicle assessed digitally. Based on clear photos taken by you, we can select a repairer for you who will come and pick up your damaged vehicle, repair it and bring it back to you at the same location. This allows you to save time and to find yourself in a stronger legal position.
Instructions for taking pictures

Why should I take pictures?
- Speed up the handling process
- Prevent discussions on liability
- Prevent discussions about multiple impacts
- Speed up the repair process
- Reduce the cost of a replacement vehicle
- Choose the most economic repair

Damage to the lease vehicle
- Take as many pictures as possible (at least 10) - please reduce the size (number of pixels).
- If possible, mark the damage and compare (e.g. use a bank card to compare, so it is easier to estimate the exact surface of the damage).
- Take pictures from afar and up close (vehicle overview and details of the damage).
- Use a non permanent marker (or your finger), to draw attention to deviations or non-aligned panels.
- Take pictures from different angles and avoid reflection.
- Take pictures of warnings on the dashboard (parking sensors, airbags…).
Alternative: send us a 1 minute long video where all the damages are clearly visible and locatable.

Accident location
- A picture of the accident scene, taken from a distance, to determine the exact location (pay attention to road marks, traffic panels, etc.).
- A close picture of the damage of all the involved vehicles.
- Picture of the green card of any third party.
