ALD awaits approval of buyer from European Commission

A pending approval of the buyer by the European Commission postpones the extraordinary general meeting at ALD.

ALD is awaiting approval from the European Commission that Credit Agricole Consumer Finance is the right buyer of ALD's branches in Ireland, Portugal and Norway, as well as LeasePlan's branches in Luxembourg, Finland and the Czech Republic.

Originally, this approval was to take place at an extraordinary general meeting at ALD on 28 April 2023, but this has been postponed to 22 May 2023.

The completion of the merger of ALD and LeasePlan takes place on the same day as the extraordinary general meeting.
