We are looking for a Social Value Manager who can join our Sustainability team at Ayvens.
Key Responsibilities of the role:
Under the direction of the Head of Sustainability, perform the role of Social Value Manager, coordinator and hub for all UK social value activities
Lead the work of the CSR Committee and sub committees to pro-actively encourage, enable, and engage colleagues in our activities within the UK, collaborating closely with the Sustainability Analyst to ensure data-driven approaches
Support the Head of Sustainability in ESG Governance Committee meetings, helping develop and coordinate new ESG group Strategies. To promote sustainable values, ethics and governance that will help our business grow, recommending key initiatives, as appropriate, to further promote our ESG vision
To develop with the Head of Sustainability, implement and deliver a comprehensive social value strategy and measurement framework that quantifies the economic, social, and environmental value created.
To engage and support Ayvens International Group Social Value Meetings, proactively supporting and working towards group targets for ESG & sustainability
To manage and expand strategic community partnerships - being the main contact with Ayvens UK, with chosen partners through corporate initiatives and local engagement, including our colleagues and customers,
To maintain close relationship with global sustainability teams and the SG Foundation
Skills and Experience Required:
Self-motivated with ability to drive initiatives from concept to completion while reporting effectively to the Head of Sustainability
Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting, particularly with the Sustainability Analyst
Strategic thinking with ability to connect social value initiatives to business objectives and financial outcomes
Effective communications skills with ability to engage diverse audiences on social value concepts
Excellent organisational and project management skills, with ability to prioritise with a proactive approach to work
Influencing skills to gain support by persuading and convincing others of the business case for social value
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Strong presentation skills related to ESG/Social Value with ability to translate complex data into compelling narratives
Experience developing and managing community partnerships and stakeholder relationships
Knowledge of Social Return on Investment (SROI) or similar methodologies for quantifying social, economic and environmental value Ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a team setting.
