We are looking for a Finance Support Assistant on a 12 month fixed term contract who can join us in carrying out the following:

  • Providing excellent customer service from the start of the customers contract throughout the life of the contract up to and including termination.

  • Support customers and frontline teams with technical support relating to any processes and queries

  • Ensure that tasks are completed within the agreed SLA’s and to a high level of accuracy

This role is based in our Bristol office (BS16 7LB) with the requirement to be in the office for a minimum of 3 days per week. The start time for this role is between 8am and 9am and an end time between 4pm and 5pm as agreed with the hiring manager.

Key Accountabilities of the role:

  • Process both in-life and end of contract amendments to a high standard and within SLA

  • Ensure consistent delivery of agreed Finance Support Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Assist the team leader with the implementation of new processes, using your initiative to identify process improvements.

  • Take ownership for identifying ‘anomolies’ when processing customer requests which could be an indication of a process break requiring manual intervention.

  • Take ownership of ensuring all customer complaints receive a good customer outcome and customer feedback is used to support coaching and development and process improvements whilst being handled in line with regulatory timescales.

  • Develop knowledge and expertise in relation to products, processes and systems to enable maximum effectiveness in role

  • Act responsibly at all times, including ensuring compliance training is completed to time, documentation is completed in a compliant fashion and procedure manuals kept up to date.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise, multitask and work to tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy.

  • Previous experience of working in a fast-paced customer services role

  • The ability to put yourself in the customers shoes and be confident and competent to communicate with them in the way in which is best for the customer.

  • Self-motivated and able to use own initiative to take ownership of customer queries and concerns. Customers for this role are key stakeholders in the business that deal with front line customers.
