We're looking for an experienced Vehicle Procurement Aftersales Lead to join our Procurement team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of our manufacturer relationships, helping to resolve complex vehicle issues and ensuring our customers receive the support they need when things don't go to plan.

Working closely with vehicle manufacturers, dealerships and colleagues across the business, you'll take the lead on vehicle rejection cases and major technical issues, finding practical solutions that deliver the right outcome for both our customers and Ayvens.

You'll also play an important role in helping us shape and improve our aftersales offering as we continue to develop and enhance the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities…

  • Building strong relationships with vehicle manufacturers and dealer partners
  • Managing complex vehicle rejection cases and technical escalations from start to finish
  • Working with OEMs to agree fair and timely resolutions for customers
  • Supporting our Complaints, Customer Service and Technical teams with specialist advice and guidance
  • Acting as a key point of contact when customers experience significant vehicle issues
  • Identifying opportunities to improve customer journeys, processes and ways of working
  • Producing insight and reporting to help strengthen manufacturer relationships and improve performance
  • Escalating recurring issues and working with manufacturers to deliver lasting solutions
  • Supporting the development of our future aftersales model and helping to improve how teams work together
  • Sharing knowledge and coaching colleagues where appropriate

Skills and Experience

  • Experience working with vehicle manufacturers, dealers or within the automotive industry
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience handling complex customer issues, complaints or technical vehicle cases
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach to problem solving
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Confidence working across different teams and levels of the business
  • A genuine passion for delivering great customer outcomes
  • Experience within leasing, fleet management or automotive aftersales
  • Knowledge of vehicle rejection processes and consumer legislation
  • Experience working in a regulated environment
  • A track record of improving processes or delivering operational change
