At Ayvens we’re currently seeking a Senior Data Protection Analyst who’ll support the 1st line of defence (1LOD) team in fully integrating privacy and data management in daily business activities. In addition, to this primary task, you’ll also be influential in the implementation of the non-financial risk framework across the first line of defence.

 

This is a permanent opportunity at an exciting time for both our business and industry as we push forward with integration. Salary guide is £40,000 - £48,000 + Benefits   

 

Responsibilities

  • Implement the Group Data Privacy framework.

  • Create, organize, and animate the community of CDOPA (Correspondent Data Office Protection Analyst) / Business Process Owners in the entity.

  • Ensure that the Data Processing Register of the entity is accurate and up to date by assisting CDOPA/Business Process Owners in building and maintaining the Data Processing Register of the entity.

  • Assist process owners in conducting and documenting DPIA for new and existing projects to identify and mitigate risks.

  • Support departments in implementing data protection policies and regulations.

  • Identify any gap with the normative framework.

  • Assess and manage data breach incidents, including reporting to local management and Group

  • Performing control testing (GPS)

  • Raise awareness within the entity and train operational teams on personal data protection and record management.

  • Liaise with SG, Ayvens SA and SGLB as required on data protection matters, acting as Local Data Compliance Correspondent for the UK

  • Liaise closely with the Data Protection Officer

  • Ad-hoc projects as required across the Risk & Compliance division to support broader divisional objectives.

  • Supports the broader 1LOD NFR team in delivering non-financial risk management requirements, such as Risk & Control Self Assessment and Risk Acceptance.

  • Provides risk business partnering support/advice to an elementary level

  • Strong organizational skills with an ability where put in to practice.

  • Good working knowledge of the data world.

  • Good knowledge of data protection regulations

  • Knowledge of records management and associated risks.

  • Communication and training skills

  • Communication and collaboration:

  • Work collaboratively with IT, Data and Business.

  • Manage stakeholders at different levels of the organization, ability to facilitate decision making.

  • Build strong relationship with Data Protection Officer LOD2.

 

Organization

  • Ability to work "in project mode" and in transversal mode.

 

Technical Expertise

  • Good understanding of the information system.

  • Ability to address various constraints (regulatory, legal, compliance, audit, IT, and technological developments).

The First Line of Defence Non-Financial Risk (1LOD NFR) team sits within the Risk and Compliance Department. It is responsible for advising, supporting and enabling LOD1 to adequately identify, mitigate and monitor their non-financial risks on a day to-day basis. Its objective is to ensure that risks are managed proactively and effectively by 1LOD, who are ultimately accountable for the proper monitoring and mitigation of the operational risks within their activities.
