As the successfully applicant you will contribute to the accurate configuration and support of applications and our core systems seeking to continually improve business outcomes. You will ensure the highest level of accuracy and timely response to all requests received, liaising with other teams and/or 3rd parties to meet business objectives and engineering standards.
Key Accountabilities
Accurate configuration of all aspects of applications and core systems including but not limited to, dealers, brokers, partners, customers, users and products ensuring they comply with company standards and policies.
Ensure all customer data is effectively collated for implementation purposes, adhering to internal policies & good practise with regards to data security. Perform data imports/cleanses to ensure system integrity is maintained and conduct data reviews.
Provision job role appropriate systems access to internal Ayvens UK employees ensuring all access provided is on the basis of least privilege and amendments are duly authorised, tested and documented as required.
Manage incoming work requests adhering to SLAs. Verify solutions adhere to good practices and suggest potential improvements to business departments through the use of additional application functionality.
Update and maintain the Motor Insurance Database (MID)
Lead the rollout of applications.
Lead and contribute appropriately to peer reviews, group discussions and decisions.
Production of periodic quality control reports ensuring appropriate oversight of team tasks and compliance with policies and procedures.
Actively recruit, develop, coach and mentor team members to improve the capability of the Engineering function in line with agreed business strategy.
Monitor and work with software and service suppliers.

Testing: Uses well considered testing techniques when testing results of changes and considers effects outside of immediate team. Feeds insights back into team to foster improvement.
Implementation: Uses system knowledge and tooling when planning implementation approach and considers simplicity, extensibility and cost of maintenance.

Required Previous Experience:
Data capture, cleansing and management
Training customers both in-person & virtually
Delivering work as part of a team
Some past use of SQL or databases
Required Education and Technical Ability:
Multiple years of relevant professional experience
IT Applications:
Good IT literacy for all MS office products including advanced Microsoft Excel
