When it comes to decarbonising fleets, Ayvens Conultancy team have extentive experience – and with one of the largest Electric vheilce fleets in the world numbering over 550,000 electric

But there are times when it makes sense for our fleet consultancy team to reach out for specialist support to help with some of the more complex challenges that some companies face.

“We had a client who wanted to explore every angle of electrifying their commercial vehicle fleet as part of a single combined project. This is a wonderful opportunity to put everything in place in one go, but it also involved a much wider scope than many projects we are involved with.

We created a partnership with Hitachi ZeroCarbon to carry out an analysis of the entire commercial vehicle fleet and the sites it is used at. This was then combined with a deep understanding of the client’s fleet requirements and resources. The result was a data-driven optimal electrification strategy that looked at everything from vehicle models and allocation to the ideal places to install chargers.

We didn’t just want to offer a solution for now, so our plans included the potential demands of the EV fleet in the future. This was accepted by the client and will now lie at the heart of their vehicle ordering cycles over the coming years.”
