
A better way to manage your fleet budgets: Introducing TCO+
I’ve been working in the automotive industry for over a decade, so I know that tight fleet budgets are not a new development. But I think the financial issues that some organisations currently face are as challenging as they have ever been.
If you’re in this position, I do have some good news. There’s now much more support to help you make the most of your limited resources, including our new TCO+ Insights platform.
It’s based on the knowledge and understanding of specialists across Ayvens, particularly within the Consultancy and Insights Team. We then added millions of data points generated from our experience in running UK vehicle fleets.
The result is an extensive set of tools that are designed to answer many of the questions you may have about procurement and management for your fleet – and to give you the essential information you need before going to tender.
They’re all supported by our consultancy team, who are there to help you ensure you’re using the tools correctly and can act on the information and analysis they provide.
We’ve created a guide that explains all the tools, so you can see what you can achieve with them. However, I would just like to highlight three here to give you a taster of what’s available:
- Van Finder
Van Finder is designed to support those new to fleet purchasing. It helps you select vehicles based on technical fit, so you can procure the right vehicles from the outset.
- Maintenance Insights
Maps downtime data from over one million service events across the Ayvens fleet, so you can see true servicing costs by manufacturer and region.
- When to Flex
When to Flex is our latest tool and produces a report that analyses how you could optimise the combination of rental and lease vehicles in your fleet. This can help you deliver cost efficiencies and greater fleet flexibility.
