Bank Holiday Opening Hours 2025

Our phone lines will close at 5pm on the Friday before the May bank holiday and reopen at 8.45am on the following Tuesday.

Our essential maintenance services – 24/7 breakdown and recovery, accident management, glass replacement and tyres – will be available over the long weekend.

Help and support can be found on our website or by contacting the Driverline.

For all other services, including service booking and foreign travel, our office opening hours above will apply.

Our rental services team opening hours and rental procedure is detailed below.

Early May Bank Holiday

  If you need a rental collected before the Early May Bank Holiday please let us know by Friday 2nd May at 10am.
• •
  Any requests after this will remain on rent until Tuesday 6th May at 10am.
• •
  The earliest time for new hires after Early May Bank Holiday is Tuesday 6th May at 10am.

Late May Bank Holiday

  Our office will be closed on Monday 26th May, reopening on Tuesday 27th May at 9am.
• •
  If you need a rental collected before the Late May Bank Holiday please let us know by Friday 23rd May at 10am.
• •
  Any requests after this will remain on rent until Tuesday 27th May at 10am.
• •
  The earliest time for new hires after the Late May Bank Holiday is Tuesday 28th May at 10am.

If you want to amend or extend a vehicle on rent, you will need to instruct us by the Friday before the bank holiday. You can do this online or by speaking to a member of our reservations team.

If you want to terminate or off-hire a vehicle, you will need to give us notification with enough time for us to arrange a collection before 5pm on the Thursday before the bank holiday.

If you are not able to do this, the vehicle will remain on rent until 9am on the Tuesday following the bank holiday.
