Bank Holiday Opening Hours 2026

Our phone lines will close at 5pm on the Friday 22 May before the Spring bank holiday and reopen at 9am on the following Tuesday.

Our essential maintenance services – 24/7 breakdown and recovery, accident management, glass replacement and tyres – will be available over the long weekend.

For all other services, including service booking and foreign travel, our office opening hours above will apply.

As per our normal process, we require a 4 working day lead time for any deliveries and collections. If these fall on either Monday 25 May, we will not be able to fulfil the delivery and/or collection. The last day for delivery and/or collection will be Friday 22 May and will continue as normal as of Tuesday 26 May.

Our daily rental service will be closed all day on Monday 25 May, reopening as normal between 8am and 6pm on Tuesday 26 May.

If you have vehicles on rent during the closure, any amendments, extensions or terminations need to be passed to our reservations team before 12pm on Thursday 21 May online or by speaking to our of our reservation agents.

If you want to terminate or off-hire a vehicle, you will need to give us notification with enough time for us to arrange a collection before 12pm on Thursday 21 May.

If you are not able to do this, the vehicle will remain on rent until 10am on Tuesday 26 May, following the Bank Holiday.

Please note we will only collect vehicles up to 10am on Friday 22 May. The earliest time for the deliver of new hires is 10am on Tuesday 26 May.
