Ayvens End Of Year Opening Hours & Daily Rental Procedure

Christmas and New Year

We’ll take calls as usual on Tuesday 24th December from 9am – 12.30pm and will then take a well-deserved break until Monday 29th December.

Between Christmas and into the New Year period, our opening times are as follows:

  29th December: 9am - 5pm

  30th December: 9am - 5pm
• •
  31st December: 9am - 12:30pm
• •
  1st January: Closed
• •
  2nd January: 9am - 5pm

Our essential maintenance services – 24/7 breakdown and recovery, accident management, glass replacement and tyres – will be available throughout the festive period.

For all other services, including service booking and foreign travel, our office opening hours above will apply.

Daily Rental Reservation Team operating hours

Our Daily Rental reservation team are available until 24th December 2025 at 1pm then closed until 29th December 2025 at 8am.

The rental office will be closed on New Years Day and reopen on 2nd January 2026 at 8am.

Christmas Off hires need to be notified by 4pm 22nd December 2025.

  Any ‘off hires’ after this time cannot be accepted and will be chargeable until 29th December 2025.

  Vehicle and Keys must be available up to 11am on 24th December 2025.

New Year Off hires to be notified by 4pm 29th December 2025.

Any off-hire requests after this time cannot be accepted and will be chargeable until 2nd January 2026 (or Monday 5th January 2026 in Scotland).

Vehicle and keys must be available for collection up to 6pm on 30th December 2025.

Deliveries of new hires available from 2nd January 2026 12pm (3rd January 2026 for Scotland).

* Vehicles may be returned to the Daily Rental Suppliers location if within their opening hours. Any vehicles left on Supplier forecourts when they are closed remain on rent and liability remains with the customer until they reopen. Please contact our reservations team for any further assistance.

Our offices will close on 24th December at 1pm. Please note however there will be no deliveries or collections between 18th December 2025 and 5th January 2026.
