1. Before returning your car
- Before returning the car
- The car must be normally cleaned both externally and internally. Important: remember to remove all personal belongings, as any loss of these will not be covered by us.
- You do not need to polish the car before returning it, as all our cars are polished before further sale.
- All equipment that came with the car when new must be returned with the car upon delivery. This includes all charging cables, luggage compartment covers (rollo), as well as summer/winter tires (which must be picked up if stored at a tire hotel).
- Remove all your personal digital traces from the car (including apps).
- If you have a log book, you must remember to dismantle this and report to the supplier.
- Also, deliver all the car's keys, as well as any codes and documents (service book, instruction manual, etc.) belonging to the car.
- If the car is damaged, you must report it.
- The fuel card belonging to the car will be blocked immediately after delivery.
- Electric cars must have at least 50% charged battery due to tariff and test drive purposes, among others.
- Note!
- Equipment that is not returned will be invoiced after 5 business days. Additional costs are estimated to be, among other things:
- missing wheel set from NOK 15,000
- missing keys from NOK 5,000
- missing luggage compartment cover/rollo from NOK 5,000
- missing charging cables (CSS + emergency charger) will result in additional costs.
For customers with their own agreements, standard procedures may not apply in some cases.
2. Return your car
Choose between 3 ways of returning your car
Direct return to BCA
The user or a representative from the company returns the car to the BCA Car Center, Kragerudveien 80, Hellerudsletta, 2013 Skjetten (Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 16:00). It is not necessary to arrange a specific time for the return. For contact with the Car Center, call tel: 47 65 10 16.
NB! Park the car in a BCA-marked parking space to avoid parking fines.
Return within Oslo
To make the return process easy and cost-effective for our customers, the car can be picked up from their workplace or from the car dealer where the new car is delivered. We work together with Gire Mobility, Vikting Redning and Axess logistics to offer delivery/pick up services.
The pickup service within Oslo/Akershus can be ordered on our website.
Return outside Oslo
If the car is to be returned outside Oslo/Akershus (old county boundary), it can be returned to the same location where the new car is picked up or to the dealer that provided the car. Alternatively, it can be returned to the nearest brand dealer in the same city. Once the car is returned, it is the responsibility of the customer to inform LeasePlan so that we can arrange transport and stop billing for the car. This can be done by filling out a return form on our website.
- Do you have a Tesla on order?
If so, the procedure is slightly different. A car with an expired lease contract must be returned to (1) BCA Car center, (2) the nearest brand dealer, or (3) the dealer that provided the car when it was new. However, if you are returning a Tesla, it cannot be left at the Tesla dealership – please contact our customer service for guidence.
3. After returning your vehicle
A final inspection to check the condition of the car will be done by a third party
