MAN Truck & Bus - 100 years of reliable commercial vehicles
Headquartered in Munich, Germany, MAN Truck & Bus is one of Europe’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturers. The company was established as a joint venture between Maschinenfabrik Augsburg-Nürnberg AG (hence the MAN acronym) and Saurer, a Swiss producer of commercial vehicles. MAN built the first 3-axle trolley buses in the 1930s, the most powerful heavy-duty diesel truck in the world at the time. It was renamed MAN Truck & Bus in 2011 to better reflect the company’s products on the international market.
