KGM started life as Ha Dong-hwan Motor Company back in 1954, building jeeps for the American army. In 1966 the company began exporting buses to Brunei, and in 1967 to Vietnam. The name KGM, which means “twin dragons” was adopted in 1988. KGM has grown into the world’s most recognisable Korean car brand with a loyal and enthusiastic fan base.
