New partnership
Ayvens partners with Plugsurfing to accelerate fleet charging across Europe
Ayvens, a leading global sustainable mobility player, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to partner with Plugsurfing, Europe’s leading EV charging platform for businesses, to create a comprehensive fleet charging solution for international, local corporate and SME clients providing access to Europe’s largest roaming network of more than 1 million public charge points.
Through this partnership, Plugsurfing and Ayvens will launch an integrated fleet charging solution for EVs. Drivers will enjoy a seamless EV charging app and seamless payment across public, home, workplace, and depot charge points, making electrification simple and easily accessible. Fleet managers will benefit from a consolidated fleet portal to monitor and control charging expenses across the various locations. This unified reporting solution is designed to improve the overall charging experience by providing comprehensive data insights and total cost of ownership (TCO) including vehicles and charging costs, particularly benefiting those managing EV fleets through multiple leasing and charging providers. Corporate clients and SMEs will gain better oversight into driver charging behaviours with detailed reporting data, offering insights into kWh consumption, cost per network and mileage collection, all of which contributes to TCO optimisation[1].
Plugsurfing currently connects over 2 million EV drivers to its EU+[2] wide reliable charging network operated by 500+ charge point operators (CPOs) across Europe. Combined with Ayvens’ fleet management expertise, its #1 multi-brand EV fleet of +600,000 electric vehicles (EVs) worldwide and extensive market presence, the two companies aim to provide a best‑in‑class charging experience to further facilitate the transition towards smarter and greener mobility for corporate and SMEs clients in Europe. The partnership is expected to be progressively rolled out in the coming months, starting with Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
“After a detailed selection process, Plugsurfing was identified as the most relevant among over 20 providers to help us simplify EV charging for our fleet clients. This collaboration will enrich our EV offering, making charging easier for drivers and helping fleets run more efficiently across Europe. By offering a seamless charging experience, we address a major obstacle in adopting electric vehicles. This highlights Ayvens' important role in building a strong ecosystem that gives our clients great value as they move towards sustainable mobility.”
“This partnership highlights the power of Plugsurfing’s platform to deliver fleet solutions that scale. At the heart of our offer is the fleet portal, which gives businesses the tools to manage cards, track spend, and gain actionable insights across public, home, and workplace charging. Combined with Ayvens’ expertise in fleet management, we are creating a solution that simplifies operations and supports a seamless charging experience for drivers everywhere.”
