We are looking for a part-time legal trainee for a fixed-term contract until end of year 2026.

As a Legal Trainee, you will play a key supportive role in assisting Legal Counsel with daily legal operations and strategic projects. You will gain hands-on experience in legal advisory, document review, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support Legal Counsel in reviewing and approving contracts with customers, suppliers, and partners.

  • Assist with corporate governance documentation, M&A, joint ventures, divestments, and litigation matters.

  • Participate actively in the Regional Legal Community through reporting and knowledge sharing.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, external suppliers, regulatory authorities, and the Country Risk & Compliance unit.

  • Oversee local Data Privacy (GDPR) compliance and coordinate regulatory requirements with business stakeholders.

  • Contribute to implementing legal operational excellence and support the digital transformation of the legal function.

What We Expect from You

  • Currently pursuing legal studies.

  • Fluent in Finnish and English.

  • Strong analytical, structured, and concise working style.

  • Confident, discreet, and capable of managing conflicts.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills.

  • Proactive, solution-oriented, pragmatic, and hands-on approach.

  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in MS Office and eagerness to work with Legal Tech applications.

  • Ability to deliver quality output under time pressure.
