Non-Financial Risk Coordinator (LOD1)

Do you have passion for non-financial risk management while working also closely with Business? We are now looking for a Non-Financial Risk Coordinator (1st line) as a parental leave cover (fixed term contract for 4-6 months) to join our local Risk & Compliance team in an international leasing company.

About the role

We are offering a fixed term contract for 4-6 months due to a parental leave which would be a great opportunity for a proactive and self-motivating person with already some experience in risk management, preferably in banking sector. In this role you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring and mitigating non-financial risks within Ayvens Finland.

Your main responsibility will be ensuring that L1C control frameworks are robust, effectively implemented and continuously improved. In this role you also get the chance to work on other non-financial risk responsibilities to in close collaboration with Senior Non-Financial Risk Specialist (LOD1). In addition, you will be also responsible for advising and supporting the Business (LoD1), who is ultimately accountable for the proper monitoring and mitigation of the non-financial risks within their activities. The role requires good communication and co-operation skills and managing risk awareness within the organization.

You will report to the Risk & Compliance Director within Ayvens Finland and will be a member of a local Risk & Compliance team.  

To qualify for the role

We expect you to have a Master or a Bachelor level degree in Business, Risk Management, Finance or other relevant field or you are at the end stage of your studies, and you already have gained some experience in risk management and/or control function, preferably in banking sector. You have knowledge of the regulatory and risk environment in the financial sector. You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, have ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and communicate fluently in Finnish and English. You have highest level of integrity and objectivity. You are organized and have a keen eye for details while simultaneously maintaining a clear overview. You are proactive, self-motivating and an excellent team player and have a passion for performance and learning in a fast-paced environment with ongoing transformation.

Compensation start level is 2500 €/month.
