Company Car of the Year event held in spring 2026 gives a voice to company car drivers, decision-makers, and leasing customers. The aim was to determine which car works best specifically for leasing customers and on what grounds a company car is actually chosen. The test drives and voting have now been completed, and the winner has been revealed.

Company Car of the Year 2026 was selected based on test drives held in February–March at Premier Park. This was not just a traditional test drive, but a multi‑week evaluation process that provided a comparable environment for testing different car models. Companies using leasing services—meaning company car drivers—were invited to the test drives. Voting rights were given to participants who drove all ten candidate cars. There were over 300 test drivers and voters in total.

– This is not a journalists’ test or a single evaluation, but a broad assessment in which the voices come from those who actually drive and purchase cars as part of their work. That makes the selection exceptionally relevant for the entire industry, says Sami Kalsi from Teknavi.

The competition was very close, and the differences between the top cars were small. For company car drivers, the most important selection criteria were particularly: driving comfort, range and charging, practicality, and overall costs. The Mercedes‑Benz CLA stood out with its overall package and balance across several different areas.

Carglass special award goes to Mercedes‑Benz CLA

Carglass’s special award highlights one of the car’s most essential yet often undervalued areas: windshield solutions. In modern vehicles, the windshield plays a key role in both safety and technology, housing cameras, sensors, and driver‑assistance systems. At the same time, its importance is increasingly reflected in practical maintenance and overall costs. The award evaluated particularly: availability of windshields and their different variants, execution and efficiency of the windshield replacement process, ease and reliability of calibration, total costs arising from the above, and overall functionality from a TCO perspective for leasing companies and customers. Based on these criteria, the special award was presented to the Mercedes‑Benz CLA.

You can watch the announcement of the winner on Teknavi on MTV3 channel on 29 March 2026 and on MTV Katsomo service.
