Spare parts delivery and flexible opening hours
Spare parts are delivered from the Malmi central warehouse 4 to 10 times a day, ensuring that the customer's car maintenance proceeds smoothly and quickly. When a customer books a service appointment, the necessary parts are reserved in advance, but additional repairs requiring quick availability of spare parts may arise during the service. This flexibility is important to us so that we can complete the maintenance without delay, says Eveliina Viinikka.
Our customer service is also flexible. For Ayvens' customers, service slots are always reserved so that a service appointment can be booked within 3 business days. We also offer evening and Saturday services according to the customer's needs, so that car maintenance fits best into the customer's schedule, she continues.
Diverse and skilled team
At Mekonomen Viinikka, there are 14 lifts and 8 experienced mechanics who service 150–160 cars weekly. Our team consists of a total of 16 people committed to providing the best possible service. Our staff has undergone comprehensive training related to electric vehicles, and we have a dedicated service area for electric cars as well as nearly 400 specialised tool sets available to service cars regardless of brand, says Eveliina.
Specialised training for electric and hybrid vehicles organised by the Mekonomen chain ensures that Mekonomen workshops stay at the forefront of development and can serve their customers with the latest technologies.
Considering technology and the environment
In servicing Ayvens' cars, we always use premium-grade oils and spare parts equivalent to original parts to maintain the vehicle’s factory warranty. Additionally, we utilise remote diagnostic devices that allow direct contact with the car manufacturer to obtain information on factory repair requirements and perform necessary updates. This ensures that all repairs are carried out according to the manufacturer's instructions and that the vehicle’s performance remains optimal, Eveliina continues.
Environmental issues are very important to Ayvens as well as to us. Mekonomen chain provides us with strict guidance on environmental matters, and regulatory oversight is also rigorous. We strive to minimise environmental impacts in all our operations. We also pay close attention to the handling and sorting of chemicals and waste. Furthermore, we require our suppliers to comply with the Code of Ethics guidelines we have in place, Eveliina adds.
