Electric cars are clearly the most popular company cars.

The largest share of Ayvens' orders for the first half of 2025 were electric cars and plug-in hybrids.

From these makes and models, we can see a growing trend in the automotive sector towards electrification. As companies adapt to changing environmental standards and employee preferences, these car models are becoming the most attractive options for company cars.

The top 5 models ordered in 2025 are all-electric cars, compared to last year, when the top 5 still included plug-in hybrid Volvo XC60 and hybrid Toyota Yaris. Tesla Model Y, which was the number one car last year, is the fifth most ordered car this year.

"The popular models for company cars are often spacious family cars. Newcomers also appear in the traditional company car selection," says Daniela Kalpala, Commercial Director of Ayvens Finland. "Volkswagen ID7 Tourer and Skoda Elroq, launched last year, are already in the top five of the most ordered models. The Kia EV3, which won the title of Car of the Year 2025, has also been a welcome newcomer among company car drivers and is already in sixth place in the statistics," continues Daniela Kalpala.

"If we look at the orders for May and June alone, we see, for example, that Smart #5 has already climbed to fourth place and Skoda Elroq has already moved up to third. New and interesting electric car models are constantly entering the market and interest in them continues to grow. To sum up, the company car sector continues to electrify at a rapid pace," concludes Daniela Kalpala.
