Damage repair

Our partner InCar assists with damage repairs, filling out damage report, arranging possible replacement vehicle, and all questions related to the damage.

Damage report should be filed as soon as possible after the damage occurs.

  1. What is damage?

Car damage refers to harm that has occurred to your vehicle, which can result, for example, from a collision, a dent in a parking lot, or another damaging incident.

Guilty or innocent party?

In a traffic accident, the party at fault files the damage report with their own insurance company. If there is uncertainty about fault in the case, it is advisable for you to also notify your own insurance company.

If you are the innocent party in a collision, the replacement car during the repair will be covered by the other party's traffic insurance. The other party's insurance company must be provided with a statement of use, showing how the car is used for work purposes. The statement of use for the replacement car can be filed with the InCar damage claim report.

Here’s what to do next:

1. Damage report

A damage claim must always be filed. Before filling out the damage report, find out the insurance company of your company car.

2. Damage inspection

During damage inspection, the car’s damages are documented and a repair cost estimate is prepared for the insurance company.

3. Compensation decision

The insurance company sends the decision directly to InCar, which carries out the repair according to the decision.

4. Damage repair

The repair appointment is scheduled during the damage inspection.

  1. Damage report

A damage report must always be filed. Before filling out the report, check your company car’s insurance provider, your company’s car policy, or contact person.

Submit the damage report through InCar, regardless of your insurance company. InCar will forward the report to your vehicle’s insurance provider. For more information about the damage report, contact our partner InCar Oy at vahinkoilmoitus@incar.fi. The damage report to claim insurance compensation must be submitted within one year of the damage occurring. If the report is not submitted within this period, the claimant loses the right to possible compensation.

    >> Submit a damage report

After submitting the damage report, InCar will contact you to arrange the next steps.

  2. Damage inspection

Damage inspection is carried out at an InCar repair shop, or for minor damages (scratches, paint damage), you can use the InCar camera. During the inspection, a repair appointment will be scheduled.

You can avoid visiting the repair shop by sending photos of the damage with your mobile phone. After submitting the damage report, you will receive a link to the InCar camera. Using your mobile device, you can easily perform a damage inspection for minor damages with the InCar camera. The camera allows you to capture the damage, save customer information, and select the repair shop all at once. Once InCar receives the photos, they will contact you to arrange the repair appointment.

  3. Decision from insurance company

The insurance company sends the decision directly to InCar, which carries out the repair according to the decision.

  4. Repair

Do you need a replacement car during the repair?

In the event of damage, our partners Hertz and Europcar can provide a replacement car service, but the cost is not included in the leasing contract. Any cost not included in the monthly contract price can be bypassed through us. However, please check your company's car policy to see which services are available to your company's drivers.
