Damage repair

Our partner InCar assists with damage repair, completing claim report, arranging possible replacement vehicle, and address any question related to the damage.

Claim report should be filed as soon as possible after the damage occurs.

  1. What is damage?

    Car damage refers to harm sustained by your vehicle, which may result from incidents such as collisions, dents in parking lots or derailment.

At fault or innocent party?

In a traffic accident, the party at fault is responsible for filing the claim report with their own insurance company. If fault is uncertain, it is advisable that you also notify your own insurance company.

If you are the innocent party in a collision, the cost of a replacement car during repairs will be covered by the other party's traffic insurance. To do so, the other party's insurance company must receive a statement of use detailing how the car is used for work purposes. This statement of use for the replacement car can be submitted along with the InCar claim report.

Here’s what to do next:

1. Claim report

A claim report must always be filed. Before completing out the claims report, confirm insurance company of your company car.

2. Damage inspection

During damage inspection, the car damages are documented and a repair cost estimate is prepared for the insurance company.

3. Compensation decision

The insurance company sends the decision directly to InCar, which then carries out the repair accordance with that decision.

4. Damage repair

The repair appointment is scheduled during the damage inspection, and you will also receive an estimate of the duration at the same time.

  1. Claim report

    A damage report must always be filed. Before filling out the report, check your company car’s insurance provider, your company’s car policy, or contact person.

    Submit the claim report through below link, you can use the same form regardless of your insurance company. InCar will forward the report to your vehicle’s insurance provider. For more information about the claim report, contact our partner InCar Oy at vahinkoilmoitus@incar.fi. The report to claim insurance compensation must be submitted within one year of the incident date. If the report is not submitted within this period, the claimant may lose the right to possible compensation.

    After submitting the claim report, InCar will contact you to arrange the next steps.

  2. Damage inspection

    Damage inspection is carried out at an InCar repair shop, or for minor damages (scratches, paint damage), you can use the InCar camera. During the inspection, a repair appointment will be scheduled.

    For minor damages, you can avoid visiting the repair shop by conducting an electronic damage inspection using the InCar camera. After submitting the claim report, you will receive a link to the InCar camera. With the InCar camera, you can complete the damage documentation, save your customer information, and select the repair shop all at once. Once the photos are received, InCar will contact you to arrange the repair appointment.

  3. Decision from insurance company

    The insurance company sends the decision directly to InCar, which carries out the repair according to the decision.

  4. Damage repair

    The damage repair appointment is scheduled during the damage inspection, and you will also receive an estimate of the duration at the same time. Before the repair begins, you will receive a text message with a link to real-time tracking of the repair. InCar will notify you as soon as the car is ready for pickup.

Do you need a replacement car during the repair?

In the event of damage, our partners Hertz and Europcar can provide a replacement car service, but the cost is not included in the leasing contract. Any cost not included in the monthly contract price can be bypassed through us. However, please check your company's car policy to see which services are available to your company's drivers.

InCar service car

The service car repairs minor damages on-site in the Helsinki metropolitan area. You save time and effort because our partner InCar’s service car comes to you, so you don’t have to go to the repair shop.
