Understanding the importance of the Know Your Customer (KYC) process at Ayvens

At Ayvens, security and compliance are at the heart of our commitment to you. As part of this, you may have received, or will soon receive, a request to provide personal identification documents and data.

This is part of the Know Your Customer (KYC) process, a European regulatory requirement aimed at combating money laundering and financial fraud.

Why are we asking you for this information?

The KYC process is a legal requirement imposed on financial institutions and their subsidiaries. As a subsidiary of a banking group, we are required to comply with these rules.

Its purpose is to ensure that each customer's identity is properly verified to reduce the risk of fraud, money laundering and terrorist financing. These checks are carried out at the beginning of each new collaboration and then regularly updated throughout our partnership. You will therefore be asked to provide or update certain identification details periodically.

We understand that this process may seem restrictive and raise questions. However, this in no way affects the trust we have in you. It is a legal obligation that we must comply with and does not reflect any suspicion towards your company.

How is your data protected?

The confidentiality and security of your information is our priority. The data collected as part of KYC is used strictly to meet regulatory requirements for the prevention of money laundering. It will not be used for any other purpose.

We also update this data regularly, particularly in the event of legislative changes or if certain information becomes obsolete. In this case, we will contact you to ensure that your file remains compliant.

How does the process work?

You will receive an email from noreply@myharmoney.eu containing instructions and a list of documents to be provided. Please inform the relevant people in your organisation so that they recognise this message as legitimate and do not consider it spam.

We are aware of the constraints that this process may entail. That is why our teams are doing everything possible to simplify these checks and minimise the administrative burden for you.

Any questions? We're here to answer them!
