Ayvens has strengthened its long-standing partnership with ISQ, a customer since 2003, by renewing the company's vehicle fleet with the delivery of 33 fully electric vehicles. The change is a decisive step in ISQ's decarbonisation strategy.

To prepare for this transition, ISQ conducted behavioural studies and carried out an internal survey among employees, actively involving them in the transition to electric mobility. At the same time, electric chargers were installed at the company's premises, ensuring the necessary infrastructure for the efficient adoption of this new reality. The partnership also involved some models belonging to the Stellantis Group.

ISQ is the largest technological interface centre in Portugal and a national and international reference in technical consulting, specialised training and certification for industry. With 60 years of experience, it provides solutions in the areas of engineering, consulting, inspection, testing, research and development (R&D) and innovation.

The transition to electric mobility requires more than just providing vehicles; it involves supporting our customers at every stage of this noble journey. Ayvens' value proposition includes presenting different alternatives, providing personalised advice on the best solution, and supporting fleet integration with the necessary training and daily monitoring of drivers. It is this ongoing involvement that makes Ayvens a trusted partner in building more sustainable mobility.

"At ISQ, we have been strongly committed to innovation, sustainability and social responsibility. The renewal of our car fleet to electric vehicles is another step in this direction, aligning our activity with the challenges of the energy transition and our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint. We want to be an active part of the change and set an example." says Pedro Matias, president of ISQ.

“The big news here is that we are replacing traditional 2-seater diesel-powered operational vehicles (commonly known as vans) with 5-seater electric vehicles, thus also providing greater comfort and versatility to all our employees,” adds Pedro Matias. In short, the theme of clean energy and sustainable development is in ISQ's DNA.

The delivery of the vehicles was accompanied by a training session conducted by an Ayvens expert in electric mobility, who explained to ISQ employees how the electric ecosystem works in Portugal. During the session, best practices for charging and driving electric vehicles were shared, helping to reduce anxiety associated with their use.
